Are you addicted to your cell phone? Could you go several hours -- or several days -- without it? Many of us would be lost without it. In fact, a new survey indicates that as many as 66 percent of us have Nomophobia, better known as the fear of not having your mobile phone with you.
Experts say it's a sign of the stress we put on ourselves to always be available. They say that if you leave for work without your cell phone, you shouldn't go into a panic.
But a team at tech company SecurEnvoy says more of us can't handle going without a mobile device. Four years ago they ran the same survey and found 53 percent of people with self-diagnosed Nomophobia.
The lesson is that more Americans think they can't get by for even a short while without their cell phone. 75 percent of us even make sure we bring our mobile phones into the bathroom.
